Applications for horizontal transfer based on central placement scores for the Fall semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year will be accepted between August 1 and August 15, 2025.
- Horizontal transfer applications shall be accepted if the student's central placement score from the year of initial enrollment is equal to or higher than the base score of the diploma program to which the transfer is requested. In cases where the number of applications exceeds the available quota, candidates will be ranked in descending order based on their YKS/DGS scores, and transfers will be accepted up to the quota limit.
- In the evaluation of applications, only the ÖSYM central placement scores from the year the student was admitted to their current program will be taken into consideration; academic performance or other success criteria will not be required.
- All procedures shall be carried out in accordance with the implementation principles of 'Additional Article 1' as set forth by the Council of Higher Education

As all evaluation procedures will be conducted based on the documents uploaded to the system, it is of utmost importance that the submitted documents are complete and accurate.
- Photocopy of national identification card
- An official document proving current enrollment status (issued by the university within the last month, bearing a wet signature, official stamp, electronic signature, or obtained via the e-Government system).
- An official document indicating that the student has not received any disciplinary sanctions (issued by the university within the last month, bearing a wet signature, official stamp, or electronic signature).
- "A document showing the central placement score for the year of admission to the university (ÖSYM Exam Result Document) and a document showing the placement result for the same year (ÖSYM Placement Result Document). (YKS/ÖSYS/LYS/TYT/AYT/DGS result documents). The result documents obtained from ÖSYM’s official website must include the Verification Code at the bottom. Documents without a verification code will be deemed invalid
- An official document indicating that the student has not previously transferred through central placement (issued by the university within the last month, bearing a wet signature, official stamp, or electronic signature).
- Transcript: An original official document obtained from the current institution of the applicant, showing all courses taken, the grades received, and the cumulative grade point average (CGPA). The document must bear a wet signature and official stamp, or be obtained via the e-Government system.
- English Preparatory Program Status Document: If the applicant has previously completed an English preparatory program and is applying for a program whose medium of instruction is English, the document must indicate the number of semesters completed in the preparatory program.
- A document showing the curriculum and course descriptions of the diploma program at the current higher education institution (required for transfer applicants to intermediate years)
- "Either the original or a QR-coded High School/Associate Degree Graduation Certificate obtained via the e-Government system is accepted. (Applicants applying for horizontal transfer via DGS must submit both high school and associate degree graduation certificates.)
- For applicants who graduated from high schools abroad, a notarized Turkish translation of the high school diploma and a High School Diploma Equivalency Certificate obtained from the Provincial Directorate of National Education are additionally required.
- In accordance with the Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor Programs, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions, students who are admitted to the programs of our university through horizontal transfer—either based on central placement scores (YKS/DGS) or cumulative grade point average (including internal transfers)—may be eligible for a discount, provided that their central placement score at the time of initial enrollment in a higher education institution is equal to or higher than the base score of the diploma program to which the transfer is requested;
- If the score is equal to or higher than the maximum score of the 100% scholarship quota, the student shall be awarded a 100% scholarship
- Students whose scores fall between the minimum and maximum scores of the 100% scholarship quota are granted a 75% tuition discount.
- If the score is equal to or higher than the minimum score of the 50% scholarship quota, a 50% tuition discount is granted.

- Applicants whose YKS/DGS score is not sufficient for the scholarship or discount category of the desired program in the corresponding year shall be subject to the full tuition fee of the paid program.
- "If there is no paid quota for the program in the YKS guide, the tuition fee corresponding to the discounted quota shall be applied.
- These students are subject to the tuition fee applicable for the academic year in which the horizontal transfer is made.

- Applications submitted in person or via postal mail will not be accepted.
- The required documents must be uploaded to the application system by the applicant in JPEG or PDF format.
- The information contained in the documents must be complete and clearly legible.
- Documents submitted outside the application system will not be accepted, and no documents can be added or updated in the system after the application has been completed or the application period has ended.
- All required information must be entered accurately and completely during the application process.
- Once the final submission is made, the applicant will no longer be able to access the application system; therefore, it is essential to review all information carefully before confirming the final submission.
- Since any issues that may arise during the evaluation process will be communicated to the email address provided in the application, it is recommended that applicants regularly check their inbox.

a) The quota for horizontal transfer based on central placement scores shall be determined so as not to exceed 30% of the quota allocated for the relevant program in the 2024 YKS.
"No quota can be allocated for the fields/classes marked with 'San' due to the absence of enrolled students."
- Applications will be made online between 01-15 August 2025.
- Applications made via e-mail, mail, cargo etc. will not be processed.
- Applications with incomplete and false documents will not be evaluated.
