BAYEK Application Process

According to the Working Directive of the Scientific Research and Publication Ethics Committee of OSTİM Technical University, the application process is as follows:

The principal investigator who will apply to the Ethics Committee must submit the application file including the documents listed below to the Document Unit at least 15 days before the committee meeting. Applications submitted after this period will be evaluated in the next committee meeting.

Note:

According to the Ethics Committee Directive, applicants must submit the complete application file as one physical copy to the Document Inbound-Outbound Unit. Otherwise, the application will not be processed by the Ethics Committee Secretariat.
The application petition must include a correspondence address and an e-mail address to facilitate the delivery of the decision letter and evaluation report.

Declaration of Commitment
Voluntary Participation Form – With Commitment
A document committing that the "Voluntary Participation Form," an example of which is provided below, will be signed by participants for studies that involve experiments, fieldwork, surveys, consumer interviews, workshops, or similar data collection methods requiring participant consent.
Signed Copy of the Research File

For studies such as surveys, interviews, or workshops, which fall under the scope of research activities as defined in Article 3 of the Ethics Committee Directive, a signed copy of each page of the research file must be submitted as per Article 10 of the directive.
