Şemsettin Özdemir received his bachelor's degree from the Technical Teacher School Casting Department, his master's degree from the Production Management Department of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Gazi University, and his doctorate from Istanbul Technical University. He earned his PhD in Metallurgical Education from Gazi University's Institute of Science. From 1991 to 1993, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Gazi University's Technical Education Faculty. He became an Associate Professor in 1993 and was appointed as a Professor at the Casting Education Department of Gazi University's Technical Education Faculty in 1995. Since 1996, he has been working at Alfa Casting and Alfa crank companies, which he founded. He has more than 15 articles and papers published in international and national refereed journals and conferences. He has prepared course notes and translation works in his field, advised postgraduate thesis studies, and participated in international projects. He has extensive industry experience and is currently actively working in the industry. Since May 2020, he has been working as a faculty member in the department of Machine and Metal Technologies at OSTIM Technical University's Vocational School.

She completed her undergraduate education in the Architecture Department at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University. During her education, she participated in voluntary work in the field of construction in Italy and Turkey. She continued her graduate studies in the Engineering Management program at Hacettepe University, where she received education in Production and Service Information Systems, Quality Management, Computer-Aided Data Analysis, Operation Planning and Control, and Engineering Economics. She obtained her Master of Architecture degree in the Restoration field at Gazi University Department of Architecture with her thesis study. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. education at the Gazi University Department of Architecture. She has also been involved in concept design, project design, and project management at different levels and functions, both domestically and internationally, in the private sector. She uses 2D and 3D modeling programs such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino Grasshopper, Photoshop, and Revit. She continues to work on artificial intelligence applications in the field of architecture. Since May 2020, she has been serving as a lecturer at the Vocational School of OSTIM Technical University.
