  im2024 | Interior Architecture Students Project Competition

‘im2024 Interior Architecture Students Project Competition’ is a national project competition that aims the participation of students of Interior Architecture/ Interior Architecture and Environmental Design departments in Türkiye and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, is organised in three phases and evaluates the studio projects carried out during undergraduate education. The competition is based on the evaluation of the projects carried out by interior architecture students in the design studios and furniture/lighting design courses carried out during the 2023-2024 Academic Year. 

Categories of the Competition 

The competition consists of five categories: 

• Year One 
• Second Year 

• Third Year 
• Fourth Year 
• Furniture/Lighting Design

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Students  

The deadline for report submission for all Workplace Education courses is February 5, 2024.  You are required to prepare your reports in accordance with the workplace education report draft on our website and submit them to your course instructors with the signatures completed.  

Students who do their workplace training outside the city can scan the signed version of the report and send it as an e-mail to the course instructor. When they meet at the school, they must submit the signed printout.

Within the scope of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, Workplace Education, Application and Experience courses, an applied education process has been planned between 15.01.2024-02.02.2024 at our university. In this context, workshops including seminars, design, application and technical trips will be carried out. Students who will carry out this course in the companies of their choice during the applied education process are kindly requested to notify the faculty member of the course they have chosen in the Fall Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year by e-mail until the end of working hours on Monday, 08.01.2024.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT EDUCATION IN 2023 SPRING SEMESTER

Dear Students of OSTIMTECH Faculty of Architecture and Design;

In line with the Council of Higher Education decision No. E.12552  of 17.02.2023, due to the earthquake/s that occurred on February 6th, 2023 and directly affected 11 provinces, educational practices of 2022-2023 Spring Semester in our faculty will be as follows:

1. Classes will be online (synchronous/asynchronous) at the Faculty of Architecture and Design until a new decision is issued by YÖK (Council of Higher Education).
2. Course registrations will be between February 22-24, 2023.
3. Classes will start on February 27th, 2023.
4. Students who want to suspend (freeze) their registration for the spring semester shall apply to the Department/Faculty secretariat by March 10th, 2023 with a petition declaring their status. In that case, their registration will be suspended and this period will not be added to the maximum education period of the program. 
5. Upon application to the faculty secretariat, the unpaid spring semester tuition fees of our students whose first-degree relatives died or their first-degree relatives' residences were destroyed or damaged in the provinces covered by the State of Emergency (OHAL) as well as the suspension fees of those students who want to suspend (freeze) their registration will be postponed until the fall semester.
6. Announcements regarding the educational processes of the Architecture and Design Faculty are tracked on the respective units' websites.
