Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin TUNA


He completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Istanbul Technical University Faculty of Civil Engineering, and worked as a trainee project engineer in Vienna O.M.V. firm and at Berschinger Hoch und Tief Bau A.G. in Zurich, Switzerland. He started his academic life in Ankara Zafer and Yükseliş Engineering Schools as a lecturer in Architecture and Civil Engineering departments, and continued as a faculty staff in Gazi University Faculty of Engineering and Architecture Department of Architecture, Karabük University Safranbolu Fethi Toker Faculty of Fine Arts and Design Department of Architecture. He served as the Head of Architecture Department of Gazi University Faculty of Architecture. He has 9 books on architectural education, 21 articles, 25 national congress papers and 7 international papers. He has also provided project and consultancy services for many mass housing, housing estate, housing, government building, industrial facility buildings. 


Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yılmaz KILINÇ


Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yılmaz Kılınç   after he has been graduated with M.S and PhD. (Civil Engineering) from Colorado State University, U.S.A has been appointed as faculty member of Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Division, Water Resources Engineering for 20 years at METU, between 1973- 1993. Beside at DPU, KKU and HKU (Hasan Kalyoncu University), he had served as Head of Civil Engineering Department and Dean of Architecture and Engineering faculty. With permission of METU he had been recruited as UNESCO Expert of U.N and UNDPI Nigeria, Kaduna (1982- 1984) in his field of Water Resources Engineering. In 1985 he had been hired in Higher Education Council- Word Bank Instructor Training project. He had also thought and carried out a project about on Engineering Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering. He had enough national and international publications.  At the U.S.A literature he has “KILINC Equations”.  He had given several conferences and seminars in the field of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering. He was a chairman of University Entrance Exam in Ankara(1979- 1981)


Assist. Prof. Dr. İlkay Dinç UYAROĞLU


Assist. Prof. Dr. İlkay Dinç Uyaroğlu received B.Arch. degree (2004) being awarded first-class honors from Selçuk University. She earned M.Arch. degree on architectural design of community-based/inclusive rehabilitation centres in the Department of Architecture, Middle East Technical University (METU) in 2008. In the same department, she received her Ph.D. degree in 2015 with his dissertation on inclusive university campus design. During her graduation studies, she had worked as a research and teaching assistant in the Department of Architecture, METU where she worked for teaching architectural design, practice and theory courses and research projects. Between 2016 and 2020, she conducted theoretical and applied courses on architectural design, interior architectural design, inclusive / universal design, disability policy, sustainable design, and urban perception at Yüzüncü Yıl University, Atılım University and Başkent University. Her current research fields are architectural education, interior architecture and environmental design education, inclusive/universal design, cinema and disability, refugee and accommodation.



Research Assist. Feyza HALI


She graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture as the first of the faculty and department in 2018. She started to her master's degree at Gazi University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of Architecture in 2018. Her works and interests are architectural design, architectural restoration, traditional rural architecture, traditional construction techniques, architectural history, computer aided design and BIM. She worked as an architect in many projects carried out with public institutions and in the private sector. As of now, within the scope of her master's thesis, she studies traditional timber construction systems in the context of preserving rural architectural heritage and continues her other academic studies.
