He completed his undergraduate education in 1991 in the field of Management at the Turkish Military Academy and his Computer Engineering education in 1998 at Middle East Technical University. He obtained his first Master’s degree in 2004 in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Ankara University with a thesis titled “Design and Development of an Expert System for Computer-Aided Instructional Design.” He earned his second Master’s degree in 2005 in the Department of Management and Organization at Selçuk University. In 2015, he received his PhD in the Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies at Ankara University with a dissertation titled “Evaluation of Information Security Awareness Levels of Academic Staff in Higher Education Institutions.”

Between 1998 and 2009, he served in various roles such as personnel information systems analyst, system developer, team leader, database designer, and project manager. From 2009 to 2013, he worked as the project manager for the ASOS project, in coordination with SSM and Havelsan.

He has numerous published articles, book chapters, and conference papers presented at international conferences within his area of expertise. His research interests broadly include information security, internet programming, educational social networks, augmented reality, artificial intelligence and virtual reality, health informatics, e-learning, emerging learning technologies, personal learning environments, technology-supported applications, and ICT.

 

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Meltem ERYILMAZ

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Meltem Eryilmaz with a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from METU, Ankara-Turkiye, completed her MS degree in Computer Engineering Department at ATILIM University in Ankara. She then was awarded a Ph.D. degree from CEIT (Computer Education and Instructional Technology) Department of Ankara University. She began her professional career as a sales manager at Entek Bilgisayar. She held positions such as sales director, software manager, and regional manager in leading companies in the information technology sector.  Her research areas are adaptive learning, data mining, artificial intelligence, big data, and augmented reality.  She taught courses and conducted academic research in the same areas at Atılım University's Department of Computer Engineering from 2001 to 2024. During this time, she also served as a guest lecturer in the Software Engineering department at Austria's Applied Sciences Upper Austria University and the Mathematics and Computer Science departments at Poland's Lodz University. Between 2022 and 2023, as a part-time faculty member at TED University's Department of Computer Engineering. She has numerous published scientific articles, domestic and international conference papers, book chapters, editorships, newspaper, and magazine articles. Eryılmaz, who has provided academic guidance to many master's and doctoral students, continues her academic work at OSTIMTECH University's Department of Software Engineering. As the founder of Invicta Academy, a founding member of the Academic Informatics Foundation (ABV), and an Executive Board Member of the Turkey Informatics Association (TBD), Eryılmaz was elected to represent Turkiye on the Board of Directors of the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies (CEPIS) in the election held in Brussels on November 24, 2022.

     
   

Assist. Prof. Dr. Yücel TEKİN

He received his BA in Management (1991) from the Military Academy and his BS in Computer Engineering (1998) from Ege University. He completed his Master's Degree (2007) in Ankara University, Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technology with his thesis titled "The effect of web-based teaching supported by course management information system on the academic achievement of trainees and their attitudes towards web-based teaching". He received his PhD degree from Ankara University Computer Education and Instructional Technology Department with his study on "The effect of robotic activities on students' motivation, attitude and achievement towards the lesson and an educational environment recommendation". He pioneered the establishment of the Cisco Local Academy, the most prestigious certification program in the field of computer networks, in 2003 for the first time in the public space. It has received the 10-year service award in education by Cisco. He worked as an IT Director at Health Sciences University Gülhane Training and Research Hospital. He developed an education system in parallel with his doctoral studies on robotic coding, which is a new and effective field of educational technology. The robotic education system he has developed is implemented in private colleges he consults and in various schools and school chains in countries such as the Republic of South Africa, America and Canada. He prepared and participated in the world's most prestigious competitions in the field of robotics coding like FLL, WRO and FRC. In this contest he has won important awards in Turkey and worldwide. He won the third prize in the WRO-Rules category in WARC-2019 held in China and won the World Championship in the online robotic coding competition organized for the first time in 2019 by WRO.

     

 

Prof. Dr. Serdar MÜLDÜR

Prof. Dr. Serdar MÜLDÜR graduated from Naval Postgraduate School/USA with MS degree in Computer Science. He worked as operation engineer, project manager, program manager and head of computer information center between 1985-2000. He received Ph.D. degree from Gazi Üniverstesi/ANKARA in 1999 and Assoc. Prof. Dr. degree in 2004. Between 2000-2017, he worked as a vice president of HAVELSAN, responsible for Turkish Navy, Air Force and Land Forces command and control programs, including National Corvette (MİLGEM), Submarine and other types of ships’ command control and combat systems development. Between 2000-2018, he was a part time professor for computer engineering department of Başkent Üniversitesi/Ankara and Gazi Üniversite for undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate programs. He has been taken responsibilities as board member and chairman of board members of some public and private corporations since 2007. Interest areas are Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Database Systems and Quality for Software Development

       
 

Assist. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Anıl MÜNGEN

Dr. Ahmet Anıl Müngen is a faculty member of the software engineering department at OSTİM Technical University. Dr. Müngen completed his undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degrees at Fırat University Engineering Faculty Computer Engineering Department. Dr. Müngen has a large number of academic publications. Additionally, he presented academic studies at numerous international academic symposiums.

Dr. Müngen has developed software for the leading companies in the IT sector for more than ten years. During this period, he served as a team leader, project manager, and technical manager. Dr. Müngen pioneered one of the industry's leading companies with their knowledge and experience.

Dr. Müngen has a book chapter published by Springer, one of the most renowned international publishers. Dr. Müngen focuses on big data and data mining applications in both scientific and sectoral fields.

     
 

Dr. Maksat ATAGOZİEV

He received his B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Kyrgyz Technical University, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, and M.S. and Ph.D. (with major in Computer Engineering, and minor in Control Systems) degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University, Ankara, Turkey.

His research interests include intelligent transportation systems, vehicular technologies, vehicle maneuver coordination and scheduling.

Mehmet Bilgin was born in Akşehir in 1995. He graduated from KTO Karatay University Mechatronics Engineering in 2017. As an undergraduate project, he built a hexadrone that follows the human body. In his career, he has programmed industrial collaborative robot arms and developed interfaces for them, and has developed projects that provide product quality control with machine learning and image processing. He completed his master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering at Necmettin Erbakan University.
