Prof. Dr. Yavuz CABBAR


Yavuz Cabbar graduated from Anadolu University as a chemical engineer (1982). He received his master's degree(1985) from the same university and his doctorate (1993) from Ankara University. He was a postdoctoral fellow at University of California at Davis (1994-1995). He received the title of Associate Professor in the science of process and reactor design (1996). He taught undergraduate and graduate courses at Hacettepe and Gazi universities. He began his working life as Deputy Inspector of Labour in the Ministry of Labour and Social Security and rose to Inspector of Labour (1984-1992). Later, Ministry of Environment Inspectorate (1992-1994), Chief Inspector (1994-1997), Vice Chairman of Inspection Board (1995-1997), General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment and planning (1997-1999; Turkish Sugar Factories A.P. He served as General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors (2000-2001); member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Standards Institute (2001-2003). From February October 2001 to October 2011, he served as deputy undersecretary in the Ministry of Industry and trade. May 2003 May 2006, as well as deputy undersecretary of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TURKAK) and 2010-2011, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Patent Institute. Since October February 2011, he has been the General Secretary of the Ankara Chamber of Industry (Aso), and in February 2021 he became a professor at the Faculty of Engineering of OSTIM Technical University. His fields of study are mathematical modeling, simulation, process control and risk analysis. He is married and has 2 children.



Assist. Prof. Dr. Settar MUŞTU


Dr. Settar MUŞTU was born in 1982 in Gaziantep. He graduated from Industrial Engineering Department of Dokuz Eylül University in 2004. Between 2005 and 2007, he was the Quality Management Chief at Gülsan Holding A.Ş. which is a leading textile company in various product groups. He changed the sector and worked as a Production Engineer between 2007-2009, Manufacturing Manager between 2009-2015 and Factory Manager between 2015-2020 at ŞDL Zincir, which is also a leader in its field. During this period, he received M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Industrial Engineering Department of Kırıkkale University in 2013 and 2020 respectively. Areas of interest are; scheduling, meta-heuristic algorithms, optimization algorithms, mathematical modeling and computational complexity.



Assist. Prof. Dr. Mehmet PINARBAŞI


He completed his bachelor's and Master's degrees in the Department of Industrial Engineering of Kırıkkale University in 2008 and 2010. Mehmet Pınarbaşı completed his PhD in Industrial Engineering at Gazi University in 2015. He served as a research assistant from 2010 to 2016. Dr. Pınarbaşı has worked as a management consultant in many companies, especially in modeling production systems. During his career, he worked as a researcher and consultant on projects carried out in various institutions, especially TUBITAK and KOSGEB. His academic interests are mainly modeling and optimization of production systems, assembly line balancing, queuing networks, constraint programming and simulation. In addition to these issues, he has also worked on many optimization problems. Dr. Pınarbaşı has published in many international journals, including international production Research, Engineering Optimization, Soft Computing, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Journal of Cleaner Production. Additionally, Dr. Pınarbaşı has a large number of papers presented at various international and national conferences and printed in paper books. He has served as a referee in many national and international journals. Pınarbaşı was also entitled to receive a domestic Doctoral Scholarship by TUBITAK. He speaks English well.



Research Assist. Sema ÇİFTÇİ


Sema Çiftçi received her undergraduate degree from Sakarya University Industrial Engineering Department in 2018 and started her Kırıkkale University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences master's degree Industrial Engineering in 2018. Her areas of interest are follows: operations research, systems analysis, statistics and statistical analysis, production management, quality management, fuzzy set theory, lean production techniques. Within her undergraduate thesis the scope, she worked on rapid mold change from lean manufacturing techniques and its application in a pvc factory and on the establishment and application of stock control system in a factory producing pvc. Within her master's thesis the scope, she continues to planning of the restricted health resources after the earthquake with an optimization approach.

Lecturer Saip Eren YILMAZ


Saip Eren Yılmaz is currently in Stanley Black & Decker’s CoE for Industry 4.0 as Director of Industry 4.0 Innovation. Prior to joining SBD, Eren took various leadership roles in management consulting, home appliances, aerospace and automotive industries with a focus on R&D effectiveness, innovation, digital transformation and technology.  Eren received various awards in innovation and büyük veri and completed a successful turnaround as a COO. Eren earned his MBA in Technology management from ESMT in Germany and has a BSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Gazi University. He is an active CSSBB, CMA, PMP and serves in the advisory council of IISE. Eren is taking part in an NSF program as a principal researcher for a new artificial intelligence technology.
