The aim of the Department of Industrial Engineering is to educate industrial engineers who will contribute to the institution and organization in which they are participating, enabling them to gain skills for technical mana-gement; teach them analysis, synthesis and modelling in order to solve decison problems, ensure ability which will lead to carry out personal research, produce information based on a universal perspective, be able to transfer this into industry and share knowledge and experience with society and industry and also be success-ful in carrying out and assimilating the mission and vision of OSTİM Technical University.

The program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to develop and improve complex human integrated systems for economic efficiency, productivity and quality. In the program, it is ensured that the general information about engineering and Industrial Engineering is based on on-the-job-learning as well as the theory starting from the first year, and hence, students are introduced to their professions at an early stage.
