Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yalçın Ata


He is a 1998 graduate of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of the Karadeniz Technical University. He received his M. Sc. From Gebze Technical University in 2000 and Ph. D. From Gazi University in 2010.

Between 1999 and 2001, he worked as a project engineer responsible for transmission and SCADA systems at the Istanbul Metro Company. After completing military service, he served as a project engineer at METU Technopark in 2003. Between 2004 and 2020, he worked as a senior researcher, chief researcher and deputy director at both TUBITAK Defence Industries Research and Development Institute (SAGE) and TUBITAK Space Technologies Research Institute (UZAY) respectively. He took part in many defense and space projects as both employee and technical leader. He has been a board member of TUBITAK UZAY and DeltaV Space Technologies Co., and executive board member of strategic projects under Defense Undersecretary for 3 years. He became an Associate Professor in 2017. He served as a referee in TUBITAK Projects, academic journals and congresses. His research areas include optical communication, propagation in atmospheric and oceanic turbulence, modulation techniques and infrared detection. He has many published papers in his field.


Prof. Dr. Serhan DAĞTAŞ


Prof.Dr. Serhan Dağtaş has 28 years of experience in university, private and public sectors. Dağtaş completed Izmir Science High School in 1987 and Bilkent University Electrical and Electronics Engineering program in 1991. Fulbright within the framework of the program entitled to go to the United States. Dağtaş received his master's (1994) and doctoral (1998) degrees from Purdue University. After completing his doctorate education, he worked in research and development units of leading technology companies such as SIEMENS and PHILIPS. Dağtaş worked at the universities of Arkansas in the United States and Waterloo in Canada. In 2010, he became a professor. Dağtaş spent a year as a chief researcher at SAP research center. In 2011-2012 period, with permission from the university (sabbatical) TUBITAK Marmara Research Center, Professor. Dağtaş served as vice president and director of the Energy Institute. In addition to electronic engineering and information sciences where he is specialized, he has also worked on R & D strategies, technology management, innovation and commercialization. Dağtaş has 12 patents which are accepted outside the international publications and declarations.

Çağatay Büyükkoç  

Prof. Dr. Çağatay BÜYÜKKOÇ


Assoc.Prof.Dr. Çağatay BÜYÜKKOÇ graduated from Middle East Technical University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. He completed his PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering at the University of California.

In 2002, he served as manager at Lucent Technologies INC., In 2004 he served as vice president and CEO consultant at ZTE, INC, and in 2008, he served as technical chief and management consultant at CISC. Finally, he has been working for AT&T as Lead MTS, Director of RAN Evolution Architecture & Network Realization.


Assist. Prof. Dr. Ramazan KOCAOĞLU


Dr. Ramazan Kocaoglu was born in Ankara. He completed his undergraduate studies at Gazi University in 2009. He worked as Network and Cyber Security Consultant, Network Solutions Team Leader, System and Network Director in private sector between 2009-2018. Dr. Kocaoglu completed many projects about network and cyber security in the private and public sector. He received MSc and PhD degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Gazi University in 2012 and 2017, respectively. He completed his second undergraduate studies at Kırıkkale University Computer Engineering department in 2019. He founded his company in 2018 and continue to develop network and cyber security products such as NAC, firewall, SDN controller and so on. He also works as project manager in Industrial R&D Projects Grant Programmes supported by Tubitak. He has given lectures as a part time lecturer for computer engineering departments of several university between 2012-2020.

His research areas mainly include Next-generation Wireless Communication, Computer Network, Software Defined Network, Internet of Things (IoT), Vehicular Ad-hoc Network, Sensor Network, Mesh Network, Nano Network, Cyber Security, Open Source Systems, Intelligent Optimization Techniques.

Emine Yaman  

Assist. Prof. Dr. Emine YAMAN


Dr. Emine Yaman was born in 1982 in Tokat. In 2006, she completed her undergraduate studies at the Vienna University of Technology, Austria. Between 2008 and 2015, she worked as a senior assistant at the International University of Sarajevo (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) and completed her PhD at Vienna Technical University in 2015. Between 2015-2019, she served as an assistant professor at the International University of Sarajevo. She also worked as the Dean of the Faculty between 2018-2019. She has publications in the fields of Data Mining, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence.. She is voluntarily serving as a technical publication reviewer for many respected scientific journals and conferences.


Assist. Prof. Dr. Behçet M. SARIBATIR


He completed his BSc (1979), MSc (1982)and PhD (1985) studies on Control Systems, Electrical Mahine Design and Optimum Control of Wind Energy Systems at the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department of METU. After working as a Design Engineer on Industrial Control Systems at the Military Electronics Industries (ASELSAN) and the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), he worked as a Software Specialist Engineer at GEC and Honeywell companies in Australia. He is the Software Architect at PAVOTEK Company that designs and produces Industrial and Military Communication and Control Systems.
