• Applied Education Model

OSTİM Technical University was established in a business and financial center which has made remarkable contributions in Turkey's industrialization. In addition to theoretical knowledge, practical training is given importance in order to benefit from this knowledge. Starting from the first year, students will receive practical training, one course in each semester, in the first year of business units in order to gain observation, application, innovation and management skills in the business environment.

• Entrepreneurship Scorecard

Entrepreneurship Scorecard, which aims to provide OSTIM Technical University students with entrepreneurship mentality, equipment and skills, is a follow-up procedure that allows the evaluation of the performance of each student at the university according to some predetermined or subsequently accepted entrepreneurial actions and provides rewards after passing a certain level.

For our students who have achieved a certain score in the Entrepreneurship Scorecard, our school will give support and rewards such as start-up capital support for the design, product, service or project they have established, job opportunities in OSTİM Technopark, finding and contacting partners, and internship opportunities abroad.

• Lessons that Make a Difference

The key course that makes a difference in the curriculum of the Business Administration department at OSTIM Technical University is the workplace experience course. In the scope of the workplace experience course which begins in the second semester, students will have the opportunity to test and experience their theoretical knowledge in practice at OSTIM and other designated businesses in Ankara.

Moreover, there are various activities that will be offered in addition to our students’ academic studies aiming to enable easy adaptation to university life, programs that will help the students reach their goals and contribute to their personal development, courses such as Introduction to University Life, Building the Future and Entrepreneurship Project that help students become active individuals, create intellectual curiosity, cultural sensitivity and awareness of taking responsibility, gain entrepreneurial qualities such as innovation-realization, commercialization and corporatization.

• Applications that Make a Difference

During the eighth semester of the curriculum in the Business Administration programme at OSTIM Technical University, our students will only carry out projects and continue their activities at the businesses they have selected or have been selected for the workplace experience course. Therefore, during the last semester of their education their recruitment processes will be facilitated. Also, our students will be able to share their knowledge, skills, talents and abilities with the firm where they are having their workplace experience as well as testing them and making any necessary cognitive and behavioral corrections.
