The need for employees who will be able to design and improve biomedical systems with the necessary technological and scientific knowledge is increasing every day. In the last years, the numbers of biomedical devices and systems used have increased  in our country.

The aim of training is to train biomedical device technology technical staff who recognize biomedical systems and equipment, know the characteristics, can make the installation, repair, maintenance, calibration of biomedical devices and successful in individual and team work.

Biomedical Device Technology program offers a period of two years technical education on biomedical technology. Students are selected among graduates of high schools according to obtained TYT scores in Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) which is held by Assessment Selection and Placement Center(OSYM). Students who successfully complete the school receive the title of “Biomedical Device Technician”.

Biomedical device technicians can work in public and private hospitals, dispensaries, laboratories factories that produce medical devices, medical device maintenance services and as well as they can open a private business firms on behalf of them. The undergraduate departments that graduates of this program can graduate vertically; Biomedical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering.

The language of the program is Turkish.
